A little about me:

"Healing does not mean that the damage never existed. It means that damage no longer controls our lives." an axiom that I live by on a daily basis. I have had over 20 years of privilege testing this axiom with many brave souls. Once these individuals made a decision to not be ashamed of their suffering and peel the layers of their pain; they were able to befriend their pain and create increased space for peace, joy and freedom. My ability to apply both Eastern and Western philosophies and approaches helps me to achieve this goal with my clientele in measured and timed steps. From Western Perspective, I utilize Brain focused approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. From Eastern Perspective, I utilize Somatic Approaches such as EMDR, Brain-spotting, Mindfulness and Yoga Philosophy.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor & Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor, I work with individuals, couples, & families. I believe in mind-body-spirit connection and develop a wellness plan with my clients in order to help them to identify their strengths and weaknesses in each of these aspects and work with them to enhance weaker areas.

This is a first step in taking charge of your life and if you decide to work with me , you will have me on your team 100%. I believe that change happens when a healer is 'present' for her client with her complete being and this connection transcends the barrier of distance and physical space. I hope you will experience this in your work with me as I invite you to do the work as a nurturing gift to yourself.
