A little about me:

I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. I earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 2004 from the University of Kansas and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in 2008.

In a shared therapeutic space with me, you are not just a "client"; you are a human being with a unique constellation of experiences and identities that makes you who you are. I believe therapy is a place for people to be authentic and experience a natural, productive flow. This work is my passion. I wanted to be what I didn’t have as a multiracial, only child, who grew up experiencing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). I have always wanted to be someone who could support others in their journeys and struggles with racial and sexual identities in the way that I needed someone in my own life.

Depending on the needs of the client, my approach can extend to psychodynamic, family systems, brief solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapies. My clients have expressed that my sessions leave them feeling cathartic after making a real, human connection.

I look forward to working with you as we walk along the path of your journey!
